Epcon C8

The Epcon C8 Extreme Performance Epoxy Resin has been specifically formulated for extreme rebar and stud applications.

Applications

Diamond drilling, wet holes, rebar (up to 32mm diameter), threaded stud

Product Features

Suitable for use in oversized holes

Easy to inject at low temperatures

Reliable performance at high temperature: 100% performance at 60^oC, 70% performance at 80^oC

Virtually no odour or smell

Phenol and Styrene free

Two year shelf life: reduces risks associated with holding stock

450ml cartridge: a perfect compromise between weight, size and application need

Extreme Performance Injection Tool: reduces effort required for application by applying force of up to 500kg to the resin cartridge

Installation

Drill correct diameter hole to recommended depth

Clean hole thoroughly with brush and air pump twice

Assemble nozzle onto cartridge. Extrude resin until an even mix is achieved and then inject into hole

Insert stud by hand to full depth, using slow rotating movement

Allow Epcon C8 to cure for specified period, prior to applying recommended torque

Substrates

Concrete, plasterboard (with Satelis, hollow brick, stone, solid block, solid brick, hollow floor beams, hollow block wall (with Satelis)
